A nifty little dive of a place with the most amazing Chicken Salad sandwich.
They also have a pork sandwich which is their claim to fame and is a unique sandwich for how flat they can make the breaded pork. Worth a try.
    Cash ONLY!

To describe Nifty 50s in one word, rustic comes to mind. Pictures of 1950s stars from the music world dawn the walls of this restaurant.

I went on a very slow morning, only one person sitting at the counter. The waitress was......elderly, to say the least. She finally came and took my order of a house omelette, home fries, rye toast, and coffee.

After 15 minutes my order finally came. Home fries were somewhat under cooked, toast was OK, the omelette was  constructed the lazy man's way. What I mean by that is the omelette was cooked and then the sausage bacon mushrooms pepper and onions we're just added on top of it and then folded over with cheese on top. The ingredients to the omelette were not cooked into and with the omelette. Just plucked on top and fold it over.

As stated in other reviews this restaurant could use a deep cleaning.

    One and done for me.

An update to a previous review of this restaurant.  The food was so below average, bland, flavorless, unfresh, and furthest thing from delicious .   Meatlovers omelet, home fries and a biscuit with a side of sausage gravy.  You can taste the old oil they use to cook the home fries and eggs in. If you can taste that, it just goes to show they don't season anything. One step in the establishment, and you can see exactly why they're not popular. Take some pride in your business. The second I left the cook and likely the owner walked outside to light up a smoke. Surprised I am not

This place has the best Texas tenderloin sandwiches in Largo! You're missing out if you don't go get one! It's a small place and everyone is so friendly and they have good breakfast , very reasonable prices.
I will definitely be going back!!

I recommend the Homemade biscuits. Yum. Gravy. More yum. Omelets were delicious and not greasy and filled with fresh veggies - not canned. The place could use some TLC in the decor but don't let that stop you. The food is worth it.
